Heritage Hub Farmer's Market

The Frenchtown Heritage Hub Farmers Market seeks to promote eating local, eating fresh, and building community in the Tallahassee area.

Services include an onsite garden that gives out free food to those in need, a food business incubator program that helps local people get access to the resources they need to start a successful food business, a biweekly farmers market for local vendors and farmers to sell their products (which will double SNAP dollars), and a commercial kitchen rental program called KitchenShare. All of Heritage Hub’s initiatives and services are designed to help alleviate food insecurity in the Tallahassee area.

Farmer's Market hours:

Thursday: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm; Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm


Incubator hours:

Monday – Friday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers are only needed for special events. Heritage Hub is otherwise composed of full time employees and interns. Semester long internship opportunities are available to students who are interested.

Additional Information:

To use the commercial kitchen you must be servesafe certified, but partnerships can make help with certification discounts. To vendor at the farmer market costs $10. To become a part of the food business incubator program, one must submit an application and be accepted. The program is 12 weeks long, with 3 months of continued support after the program ends.
