Services:

The Leon County Fruit and Nut exchange is an urban gleaning program that gets permission from local property owners to pick fruit and vegetables that grow on their property. These fruits and vegetables are then delivered to local food pantries. The LFNE is a volunteer program that does not give out food directly.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Anyone can volunteer to assist with gleaning efforts, helping to pick fruit, nuts, and vegetables. Individuals can also have fruit and nut trees on their property added to the LFNE’s online registry so that their produce can be gleaned and donated to exchange.
